Diamonds and Jewellery

You will not. You need to be an expert and use specialised equipment to make sure a diamond is real. Do not trust ideas like scratching a beer bottle (it may damage the diamond too), thermal conductivity, looking through, comparing weight, etc. If the diamond is accompanied by a certificate, you will know it is real and if it is treated artificially or not.

2. How your diamonds are certified?

Choose from our extensive collection of solitaires in various shapes and sizes, each of which is certified for authenticity by renowned names like the Solitaire Gemological Laboratories (SGL) and International Gemological Institute (IGI).

3. How do you certify your jewelry?

All diamonds used in our items are accompanied by their original diamond certificate. Certification for items in our 'Diamond Jewelry Collection' depends on the size and quantity of the diamonds contained in the item. We do, of course, assure that all our diamonds are real and natural.

4. Is your jewelry certified?

Yes, the gold used in all our jewelry is hallmarked.

5. How can I be sure that I receive the same diamond after sent for inspection or remounting?

Know where the inclusions are on your stone. Inclusions are the signature of diamond, which are the identifying marks. You can have it certified by the GIA for a fee. They will document the exact location of all identifying inclusions along with color and carat. This is the exact and easiest way to identify your own diamond. You can re certify your diamond to compare it with the old certificate you have. Certification is not very expensive

6. How are color diamond prices determined?

Retail pricing is generally set by observing the prices of the competition, but prices depend on several factors: 1.Hue (the rarer the color, the greater the cost) 2.Richness or saturation of the color (ranging from very light to light to intense to vivid) 3.Purity of the color (whether the color is bright and clear, or clouded) Availability

7. Is it important that I buy a diamond that is accompanied by a certificate?

Yes. Buying with a certificate from a recognized authority such as the AGS, GIA, GSI or IGI means that your diamond has the credentials to be recognized worldwide as a valuable item. Resale values of diamonds drop drastically when unaccompanied by a certificate. Also, a certificate makes you sure about the authenticity and purity of your diamond.

8. Can I direct for a custom design?

No, our apologies as of now we do not accept orders for custom designs.

9. Are Pendants available with the chain?

No. You can only order for Pendants.

Payments & shipping:

Acharya Diamonds is an online marketplace for Jewelries. We have limited Cash on Delivery for domestic orders which means the payment method is mostly via Credit/Debit card using our various payment gateways. We also accept Credit/Debit Cards for all orders. Please find below the step to place an order.

• Click on "Add To Cart" to your shopping cart where your products will be saved as you continue shopping.
• Once you have done with the product selection click on shopping bag
• You can also apply any coupon if you have at this step by clicking "Apply Coupon" and click on "Proceed to checkout"
• You will be asked to login with your email-id if you already have registered customer with Acharya Diamonds. If you are buying for the first time, you can continue as guest or get registered by adding required details.
• If you want to proceed as a guest then please enter your billing address.
• By default the shipping address will be same as billing address but if you want to have a different shipping address, click "Ship to Different Address" and enter shipping address.
• Please select payment gateway to pay via Credit/Debit Cards or Net banking via Indian Banks.
• Post payment selection click on "Place Order" an order number will be generated and confirmation mail will be sent to mentioned or registered email id.

Generally the delivery gets done within 7-14 Business days for domestic orders. Our courier partners will contact you and fix the date and time of delivery at the specified delivery address. This delivery address cannot be changed once the product is processed for shipment.

3. How do I track an order that has been shipped?

Once the shipment is in transit the customers will be receiving an email with the logistic partner and tracking id (Air ways bill number) details which we help the customer to track the orders.

4. Can I change my shipping address after I have placed an order?

Yes. Provided the order has not been processed for shipping.

5. Who pays the shipping charges on returns and exchanges?

In case of returns on account of defects in the product, shipping charges will be borne by us. In all other cases, shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

6. Do you have replacement policy?

We have a replacement policy for Jewelry as mentioned below Manufacturing Defects: In the unlikely event, if you receive a product with manufacturing defects, we guarantee 100% product replacement at no additional costs. Damaged in Transit: If the product is damaged in transit we will replace the same product for you. Please do not accept the product you receive the box in tampered condition.

7. What is the option if no one is at home when the courier person comes?

Most courier companies will call you before coming over to deliver the item. Some important points to ensure that your CoD transaction goes smoothly Please ensure that the mobile number you provide for the Cash on Delivery payment is always available and answered. It is important that your address and landmark are very clear. This will help us locate you easily and complete the process faster. Please be available at the designated address with the complete cash as payment for the item purchased.

8. Can invoice not be a part of the shipment for delivery?

We do not ship any product without invoice because of intrastate and interstate requirement. (Document mandatory for goods transfer from one place to another)
